Question:
I am a little confused on the dimensions in the item description. Could you give better explanations of the actual dimensions for this hitch? Specifically, I would like to know how far down the very bottom of this hitch is from the top of the hitch. Thanks!

The B&W Tow and Stow ball mount # BWTS10049B will have some great features. You can stow the mounting platform that has the 3 hitch balls (1-7/8, 2, and 2-5/16 inch) underneath your vehicle. This is nice because you will eliminate the possibility of hitting your shins while working around your hitch.
The adjustable height will allow you the ability to tow trailers of different heights. The maximum drop is 7-inches and maximum rise is 7-1/2 inches. They are adjusted in 1-inch increments.
I went to the warehouse to get the B&W Tow and Stow ball mount # BWTS10049B and provide you a couple measurements. The overall height from top to bottom is 10-1/2 inches. The length of the shaft is 6-1/2 inches and from the center of each pin hole to edge of the shank is 3-1/2 inches (furthest pin hole from end of the shank) and 2-3/8 inches (closest pin hole to end of the shank).
Or the measurement (closest pin hole to base of the shank) is 3-inches whereas the furthest pin hole to base of shank is 4-1/8 inches.
If you need a hitch pin, # PC3 will work fine or the etrailer.com hitch receiver lock # e98880 will help deter theft.
I made a short video and diagram showing a couple dimensions for you too. You will also see a couple video reviews as well.

Would you be able to get a measurement from the furthest pin hole to the center of the ball (when the hitch is in the towing position) Trying to find a hitch that allows my tailgate to go down and not hit the jack.
