Will A Diode Wiring Kit Also Charge The Battery Of A 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit

I have a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. Not the L model. My question...I believe I would need the RM-15267 diode kit to make the Motorhome activate the brake and signal lights on the towed car. But do I also need the Battery Charge Kit, or does the 15267 take care of charging the battery also?

The Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 isn't going to tie into the battery so you would need to also pick up a charge line kit # RM-156-25 separately. The charge line kit will run from the battery to the 12v accessory pin on the 6-pole socket of the # RM-15267. The included umbilical cord with the # RM-15267 will complete the connection to the 7-way on the motorhome through the 12v accessory pins to charge the Jeep's battery.
If you don't already have a line ran on the motorhome to the 12v accessory pin then you'll also need to pick up the # RM-156-75 as well.
