Why Doesn't Thule Bike Rack Anti-Rattle Device Seem to Remove All Movement

Question:
I had recently bought a 2 inch hitch adapter for my Thule 4 swing bike rack. Everything was put on according to the e trailer spec. Just curious why the rack has 4 bikes on really bounces and doesn’t seem to tighten as much as a thought. Any thoughts. Is this normal. Any help will greatly be appreciated. Thank you

The Thule anti-rattle knob can be a little tricky to use but basically if you take one hand and move the rack around as much as you can while tightening the knob with the other that typically does a really good job getting rid of that last bit of movement in the hitch.
