Question:
I am looking to replace my dexter axel leaf springs with the next size up in weight ratings. The springs have flattened out on me on my reflections 150 by grand designs. The axel is a Dex# 5266600 a 4400 lb rating. The spring is roughly 1-5/8 across and 26 eye to eye of course that is with weight on it. Can you with me with that ?

I can definitely point you in the right direction. Leaf springs can expand up to 1" when under a load. If yours measured 26" with weight on them, I would be looking at a 25-1/4" long spring as a replacement. If you want to beef up the suspension a bit, we have the # e44SR which is a 4 leaf 25-1/4" long spring for a 5,000 lb axle. We also have the # e34SR which is a 5 leaf 25-1/4" long spring for a 6,000 lb axle. Both of these springs are 1-3/4" wide, which is standard width for a double eye leaf spring.
I believe that the 5K spring # e44SR will be the best choice. It will be much stronger than the stock spring. The 6K spring will fit in with your suspension, but depending on the gross weight of the trailer, the 6K springs may be too firm and may affect your ride quality.
