Recommended 25-1/4" Long Leaf Springs

Updated 04/09/2025 | Published 04/05/2025

Question:

My trailer is 2022 GD Imagine 3100RD. The GAWR is 4400 lb. Its a tandem axle and I need to replace the springs. What if I use e44SR instead of DX95CR? Its a little thicker/stiffer. Ill also replace the equalizer with a MORryde suspension. 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 5,000-lb Trailer Axles - 25-1/4 Long e44SR 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,400-lb Trailer Axles - 25-1/4 Long DX95CR Thanks

Hey Rob! Both the 25-1/4" long item # DX95CR and item # e44SR springs will work if you're replacing a 25-1/4" long leaf spring. They're close enough in capacity so long as you're not using too light of a spring with the 4,400 lbs item # DX95CR.

How did you measure your leaf springs to come up with needing a 25-1/4" long one?

@RobH Hey Rob you're welcome! Looks like you figured out how to reply! We recommend measuring the leaf springs with the weight of the trailer off of them. They tend to stretch out over time the more usage the springs get, rougher roads that kind of thing. It's not unreasonable that the spring would've stretch out 1/2" over the last 2-3 years so the item # e44SR you ordered should work well for you.
