When we bought our 2022 Honda HRV we were told by our salesman we couldnt have a hitch put on because of the gas tank location underneath ...now Im seeing your ad...we live in Canada...

We do offer a trailer hitch for your 2022 Honda HR-V. We have the Curt class 1 hitch # C11416, which has been confirmed to fit the 2022 models. It is a tight fit around the gas tank, but it will fit nicely. This is your standard class 1 hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver and a 2,000 lb towing capacity.

We also offer the EcoHitch # 306-X7322. This has the same 2,000 lb capacity, but has a 2" receiver instead of 1-1/4". I have linked our install video below if you want to take a look.

If you are in need of a trailer wiring harness we offer the Tekonsha # 118673. This has a 4 pole flat trailer connector which is very common in the US market. I am not sure if Canada uses the same standard trailer plugs as we do, but it is very common. That said we do ship into Canada. Keep in mind all our prices are in USD and shipping charges will apply.
