The best hitch for your 2023 Mazda CX-5 is the etrailer Hitch item # e98902. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Mazda with included hardware. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It is made in the USA and has a 4,000 lbs towing capacity and a 600 lbs maximum tongue weight.
The reason that this is the best hitch, aside from affordability, is because the crosstube mounts behind the rear bumper cover leaving only the 2" receiver visible. This not only looks better but it also helps with ground clearance.
I have attached a couple of pictures below along with an installation video so you can see how to get this hitch set up and what it will look like once installed.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C45FV and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
