The # MD256 gives you up to 8-1/4" of drop (or 8-1/2" of rise), comes with a 2" hitch ball (10k capacity) and 2-5/16" hitch ball (14k capacity). To secure it to your hitch and also lock the mount, use the BulletProof Hitches Receiver Lock for Adjustable Ball Mount # BPH34FR.
