Question:
Looking at RV approved e-bike racks from Hollywood. One runs $600, the other $500. Other than a slight difference in the frame configuration can you tell me the difference between the two please?

The # HLY84FR and # HLY64FR share many similarities but there are 2 key differences aside from the price. The first is the way the bikes are secured.
Although both are frame mount bike racks, the Sport Rider uses your standard ratcheting hooks while the RV Rider has padded clamps. Both work well, but the clamps are handy for bikes with alternative frames since they can attach to the frame or seat post.
The other major difference is the compatibility. Both work with a motorhome, but the RV Rider is also rated for a 5th wheel or a flat-towed vehicle while the Sport Rider is not. If by RV you mean a motorhome then save yourself the money and get the # HLY84FR. If you were referring to a 5th wheel then the # HLY64FR is the right choice for you.
