How to Replace the Rear Tailgate Clamp on an Extang Trifecta 2.0 Tonneau Cover

I received the replacement clamp for a defective rear clamp on my new cover. How do I replace? Video?

I'm glad to hear that you received the Rear Tailgate Clamp, # EX31003005, for your Extang Trifecta 2.0 tonneau cover. I called Extang and discovered that they don't have any videos for replacing the rear clamp. But, they were kind enough to walk me through the process and provide me with a diagram, which I've attached. I also made a close-up of the section you will be working on so that it is easier to see.

First, you will pull up the tarp to expose the rails. Remove the Tail Hinge Assembly (see diagram), which will only require removing 2 screws. Next, you will remove the one screw that holds the channel down. (I think that the channel is called the Rail Seal in the diagram.) You should now be able to pop out the channel and remove anything that remains of the broken rear clamp & slide the new one in. Then you will reverse these instructions, replacing the channel screw and the hinge screws. Easy peasy.... I hope.

It would be great to have diagrams posted in a format that can be enlarged enough to read clearly. The diagrams are almost illegible even before trying to enlarge.
