Are All Brands of 7-Ways Equal or Are There Better Options

Question:

7 pin trailer plug. Are all the major brands like Reese Hopkins, etc , of equal quality? Or, is there a BEST brand for quality components and design? Thank you

I wouldn't say any of the 7-way trailer manufacturers that we sell offer a 7-way that is noticeably nicer than the other brands. I've heard people complain about Hopkins brake controllers and other more advanced electronics but I have a Hopkins 7-way/4-way on my Tahoe part # HM40920 and it's been perfectly reliable and works great. This is a twist lock for GM vehicle bumpers. We also have a more standard fit part # HM40950 which fits the standard brackets.
