Question:
my right side turn signal post on my truck plug doesnt work, but it is sending power flashes out of the trailer brake post. It doesnt look like anything has been spliced into on the vehicle.

There should be a dedicated wire for right turn and another for the brakes. We would need to go in with a tester like the # PTW2993 and test behind the plug to see what kind of signal we are getting. Specifically to ensure that we have the right turn and brake pinned correctly on your 7 way plug. It sounds like you may have already done this, if so we will have to start testing further back. Always double check the ground in these situations to make sure our ground is clean and free of corrosion. If that checks out I would be looking for a short somewhere on the brake or right turn wire.
I have linked a 7-way wiring diagram below for you to reference.
