Question:

I have a 2020 Chevy Traverse and will get this hitch for bike rack but do you recommend getting the power connection just in case and which one for most comparability? My Honda Pilot has it. I wasn’t sure if there is a lot of install effort if I wanted to do it later so I should do it at the same time.

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C56394 for a 4-way or item # C56393 for a 7-way is what I recommend for your 2020 Chevy Traverse. These are custom fit and quite a bit easier to install when you're putting the hitch on. Just like the Draw-Tite Hitch item # 76184 they require the rear bumper cover to be removed.

If you ever plan on towing a heavy trailer like a camper you will want the 7-way Curt Wiring Harness item # C56393 because it can control trailer brakes. The item # C56394 can not it only does lighting functions. The 7-way is the way to go because it covers all grounds. You can use the 7-Way RV to 4-Way Adapter item # 337TC2074P if you pull something like a uhaul trailer that only uses a 4-way.

If you go with the 7-way connector you will need the Mounting Bracket item # PK12711U to attach it to the Draw-Tite item # 76184 hitch.
