Recommend Universal Trailer Hitch for a 2021 Coachman Chaparral 5th Wheel

Hi, I have a 2021 Coachmen Chaparral 5th wheel model 360IBL and theres two brackets welded to the frame that can accept a bolt on hitch. I am unsure which type of RV hitch may work for this, can you help em find the appropriate product? I can send pictures of the brackets once you reply to me.

We do not have any hitches that are going to be a custom fit to your 2021 Coachman Chaparral 5th wheel, however what I can say is that if you measure the width of your frame, and that number is between 49-1/2" and 76-1/2", then the Stromberg Carlson Adjustable Accessory Hitch Receiver # SC45MR will work great with your 5th wheel.

As a class II hitch this has a maximum capacity of 350-lbs but as a class I it only has a maximum capacity of 200-lbs due to the way the hitch installed. Welding this to your frame gives it much more rigidity which allows it to handle more weight giving it the class II rating, versus just bolting it to the frame which is not as strong and in-turn has a lower weight rating.

If you have a different measurement that does not fall into this range, let me know what that is and I'd be happy to outfit you with something better suited.
