Is It Okay To Weld The 2" Pipe Mount Form Jack # TJP-5001-Z onto 2" Square Tube Frame?

I bought this jack last year. The weld-on inner ring is 2inch diameter, my frame square tube is also 2. Its kind of tight to fit it on. Want to make sure its OK to weld the ring onto the 2inch square tube. Thanks!

Yes, you will be able to weld on the 2" Male Pipe # TJP-IP916 which is included with the Round, Pipe Mount Swivel Jack # TJP-5001-Z on your 2" tall frame.

You can place the pin on the Square Pipe Mount Swivel Jack w/ Footplate #TJDP-5000-FLB either way when it is holding weight. The weight of the trailer will be bearing down on that pipe mount bracket while the pin just keeps the trailer jack in place.…

The etrailer jack part #TJP-7002-B that you referenced would be a great replacement for the Atwood you have now. It's a similar jack that uses a pipe mount, a topwind, and has plenty of weight capacity at 7,000 lbs.
