The Square Direct Weld Jack part # TJD-8000S is designed as a direct weld-on jack. The outer tube is made to be welded directly to the side of the trailer. If you're looking for a pipe mount, the Square Pipe Mount Swivel Jack part # TJDP-7000-B is very similar and what we'd recommend using.

You can place the pin on the Square Pipe Mount Swivel Jack w/ Footplate #TJDP-5000-FLB either way when it is holding weight. The weight of the trailer will be bearing down on that pipe mount bracket while the pin just keeps the trailer jack in place.…

The etrailer jack part #TJP-7002-B that you referenced would be a great replacement for the Atwood you have now. It's a similar jack that uses a pipe mount, a topwind, and has plenty of weight capacity at 7,000 lbs.
