I need a direct replacement hot water heater for an Atwood, Model G6A-7, 6 gal. 8.8btu/hr, 7.4gal/hr recovery, Serial # 96223044779. Thanks

The Dometic RV Water Heater # DMC74FR will work as a replacement for your Atwood G6A-7. It has different dimensions at 12-3/4" tall x 12-3/4" wide x 19-7/8" deep but there is nothing available that will match your current dimensions. This has the same 6 gallon capacity as the Atwood and recovers 12 gallons per hour.
