Question:

I have the 2008 SR5 4wd Sequoia and this 2016 28 foot trailer It weights 6,000 and I’m worried about the sag on the rear end. your thoughts and which air system do you recommend? Thanks

Thank you for the photo and you definitely need some suspension help there on your 2008 Toyota Sequoia SR5 with the sag you have. Since you have the SR5, so long as your Sequoia does not have auto leveling, the air spring system you need is from Air Lift, and is the following part number:

- Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs # AL60786

These will help level your Sequoia out when you're towing and you'll notice the difference in handling as the front end won't be raised. With more evenly distributed weight from the back to the front your steering and braking will be improved.

The only other thing I recommend considering is a compressor to make it easier to inflate and maintain the air pressure in the springs. Either the Air Lift Load Controller II Compressor System # AL25592 if you're okay with running a manual gauge up into your cab, or for a remote controlled option where you don't have to do that, the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980.
