Question:
I have a 2006 GMC Savana 2500. I will be towing a trailer that has a 7 pin connector. I need a kit for my vehicle that will allow me to connect the trailer to my van for power/turn signals/lights, etc. Can you please advise me which wiring harness will work for my situation? Your site has a million different options and I’m not sure which one to buy. Thanks in advance

I can definitely help you find the right parts to add a 7-way to your 2006 GMC Savana 2500. Since it sounds like you don't have any wiring at all you will need to start by adding a 4-way.
For that you need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # 55540. This will plug into the connection points in your rear cargo area, providing you with a 4-way to power the trailer's signal lights.
From there all you need is the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. This comes with the adapter, breakers, wiring, and everything else you need to upgrade your 4-way to a 7-way. If the trailer has electric brakes you will also need to add a brake controller like the # 90885.
I have attached some installation videos below for your reference.
