Set it in a 122 sq ft closet or bathroom, plug it in, and let it pull moisture into a 16 oz tank. It shuts off when full, so you don't deal with spills while it dries the air.
Moisture sneaks into tight areas, and a big unit just won't fit where the problem starts. This dehumidifier's suited for spaces up to 122 sq ft, so it fits the small-room job instead of trying to cover the whole rig. You can set it where air gets stagnant and keep that spot from turning musty.
A noisy dehumidifier gets shut off fast, especially in a small space where sound bounces around. This unit runs at 33 dB, so it stays in the background while it works. You can leave it running without the constant hum taking over the space.
Overflow turns a moisture fix into a cleanup. Water collects in a removable 16 oz tank, and the unit shuts off automatically when the tank fills. You pull the tank, empty it, and pop it back in without chasing leaks.
It's hard to know what to expect when it's sticky out and everything feels damp. It's rated to remove 16 oz a week when average temperatures are at 86 degrees F and relative humidity is at 80 percent or above. You can line up that rate with the conditions you're dealing with and see when it's time to empty the tank.
Some units quit when the temperature creeps outside their range. This dehumidifier operates from 59 to 104 degrees F, so it can keep running through warm spells. You keep pulling moisture instead of parking it until the weather changes.

Hey everyone. I'm Evangeline right here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look at the Eva-Dry Petite Dehumidifier. This is gonna be a small dehumidifier ideal for your smaller spaces like your closets, your pantries, or right by your bed. If you find that there's a little bit too much moisture in the air and you wanna get rid of it, this will be helpful for that. In this video, we'll talk about basically how this works, my tips and tricks for using it, and help you decide what exactly is the best fit for you and your adventuring journey.
First and foremost, let's talk about smaller dehumidifiers. While the petite dehumidifier says that this will work in areas of up to 1,200 cubic feet, in reality, this is more ideal for spot dehumidification. And that's because this is not supposed to be a replacement for like your AC unit, which works so much more efficiently, plus it cools the air. But this is helpful as a bonus for when you're going through humid areas and you wanna focus in on an area. So comparing this with Eva-Dry's other dehumidifiers, this is very similar to the mini-electric dehumidifier, which is slightly larger, has a larger capacity, and has, in my opinion, more modern design.
But the petite is ideal for even smaller applications and if you want to focus in on a spot where it will draw air in. This does have to be powered though. So if you are looking for a dehumidifier that you can kind of just throw into your closet and not have to plug in, Eva-Dry has those options too. For me personally, this is how I would use it, or I would plug it in right by the bed facing at the mattress. You wanna think about places where moisture builds up and mold could potentially grow.
So that's gonna be under your mattress, underneath cushions. And some places mold might not be growing, but you also want your food to last longer. So right here on the pantry shelf, our petite dehumidifier fits nicely in there, and close that shelf. This works best if you have a pantry or a closet with an accessible wall outlet. This just uses a regular wall outlet, so hopefully you have one of those in your RV or your camper motor home, wherever you are using this.
And this has a vent in the front that brings in the air that has moisture. It has two plates and a fan. And then it shoots the air up that has less moisture. That moisture is accumulated in the storage compartment underneath. Once that's full, this will actually automatically register that's full and will shut off. So plenty of safety functions there, especially since this ink is on the smaller side. If you're in really humid environment, you might find yourself emptying this regularly. Double check our specs here on our website, which explain temperature, relative humidity, and how much water, and this will be storing up in the tank. Bringing this back in, it turns right back on, and it's very quiet. The fans in this motor home are louder than the fan, and I have my ear pressed up against it. So something that you can leave on and barely notice. So is this the right fit for you and your adventures Well, it does depend on what you are looking for. Are you looking for something that is small, easy to set up You do have a power source for it to plug into, and you are okay with the 16 ounce capacity, which means at full force, you might be emptying this every other day. If so, then hopefully this video was helpful for you with just kind of seeing how it would work as well as what situations it would work best in. Now, if you are looking for something that you don't have a power source, we did talk about the Eva-Dry high capacity renewable dehumidifier, there's also much larger dehumidifiers available right here at etrailer. If you're ever confused or you may want just a little bit of advice of, this is my space, this is my situation, what do you think is the best for me, well, feel free to give us a call. We love helping people out picking the right thing for their journeys. Today, what we saw though was a look at the Eva-Dry Petite Dehumidifier at etrailer.com.
This dehumidifier has been running in the small cab of my truck, with a definite presence of moisture, and has not done a thing. I have checked the reservoir each day for three days and there isn’t a drop of water in there. So very disappointed.

Sorry to hear that, Joe. Why are you so sure there is moisture in the cab of your truck? And also, did you want to return or warranty this since it doesn't look to be working?
