Turning on Headlights Causes Other Lights to go Out Using Curt Harness C56009
Updated 05/31/2023 | Published 05/29/2023 >
Question:
Thank you Kyle for the answer to my question. Problem I am having now is when I turn on the headlights all goes out except right rear taillight on vehicle. If I just don’t turn in headlights or run lights it works as normal. Any suggestions as to what I have done to cause that. Thanks again for the help. It is appreciated.

Thank you again for your purchase from etrailer of the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56009, and if turning on the headlights causes other lights to go out the issue is almost always a bad ground. Check to make sure your ground is attached to a bare metal surface free of any paint, dirt or corrosion. I have also added a link below to a help article on trailer wiring troubleshooting I highly recommend checking out.
