The trailer wire harness was a perfect fit. The installation video was helpful and I confidentally removed the tail lights, cinne cted the harness and in 15 minutes was done. Everything fit perfectly, instructions were clear and the video was a blessing. I highly recommend this product and your company fir the fast shipping of a quality product.
I ordered this wiring harness for my 2008 Grand Cherokee and it arrived very quickly. It installed very easily. The instructions are very clear, the only thing I would add is to be careful routing the wire to the right side vehicle light because you are running the wire close to the exhaust. The vehicle wiring has heat shielding covering the wiring harness but the trailer wiring does not, so be careful to keep it as far from the exhaust as possible. The connecters fit perfectly into the taillight connecters and all the wires were a good length, long enough to reach but not so long that there were a lot of excess wire to bundle up. Everything needed was included including a self tapping screw for the ground and zip ties to keep everything neat. I also ordered the 18144 mounting bracket and the plug fit into the bracket perfectly so I don't have a dangling plug.
Ridiculously easy to install. No hard wiring...just plug it in using the instructions. You pop both taillight housings out, pop the upper bulbs plug off, plug the new harness to bulb, plug cars factory plug into the back of the new harness. Route wires to the other taillight and do the same. Your flat 4 is now hanging under your bumper. Zip tie. Done. You do NOT need to flash the computer for a flat 4 harness addition even if your Cherokee had no towing package. It pulls is signal right from your working taillights...get it?
The wiring installed very easily and mated with the light plugs perfectly. Based upon the size of the ground connector I would suggest a larger self tapping screw, which would make better 360 degree contact.
An option I would like to see and would buy is a square plate with mounting holes to fit the existing factory plug mount next to the hitch. A horizontal slot would be cut to match the shape of the plug with a long U-clip to hold it in place. Perfect!
What can I say about etrailer.com and the Hitch Receiver... Communication was excellent, delivered in a matter of a few days, etc... The product was spot on; easy application taking less than a half hour. The hitch is snug to the bumper, sleek, and functional.

This product is high quality and installed easily according to video instructions. I got this with a hitch intended to haul a bike rack but I used it to pull a trailer and it works great. I always put some dielectric grease on the plug works great I would recommend it.
Extremely happy with the wiring harness. Much better option that a generic harness at local auto parts store that requires spicing of wires for the installation. Easy installation on 2010 Grand Cherokee, good apparent quality and should be easy to remove/replace if needed due to the factory style connectors.

Hitch for 2013 Grand Cherokee. Items were rec. promptly as advertised. Installation was easy and the assistance from your employees was very helpful. Needed only one wrench. Instructions were adequate but did show a different model jeep taillight in the insts. All in all very easy installation and quick service. Wiring harness was easy to install also. Thank you.
The hitch arrived on the date it was expected, the box was damaged and a portion of the hitch was sticking out of the box. Upon further inspection the hitch was fine. My son and I installed the hitch in about 10 minutes with no issues. We also purchased the wiring kit and we had that installed in about another 15 minutes on our 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It looks great and works great. I would recommend this product.
Wiring Harness is Excellent, Plug&Play. On my 2013 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LAREDO - I install it myself & learned about all the Nooks&Grannies in the rear of this JEEP. Roughted wiring harness through vent panels on the left & right rear side of the body, it took some searching with my fingers/hands, behind and under the bucket storage items. First - snaked a bendable wire through the panel/wholes to make sure that they arrived outside & inside the car skin - up to the rear tail lights & connect to the tail light wire. Everything working accordingly. No Blown Fuses. Jim C.
Super easy to install! Very strong. I installed the hitch and the wiring for a trailer in about an hour. Zero problems getting it to line up. Great product.
Easy to install. Plenty of wire to make install smooth and hidden. Does come with a cover for the 4 prong trailer plug. I would recommend looking under the vehicle. It may have a harness already wired under the bumper. It would allow you to just plug and go for a 4 or 7 prong. I had it but found the 4 prong flat was easy and a few dollars cheaper and I only need a flat plug.
CUSTOM JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE HARNESS, FIT AS ADVERTISED. WATCHED eTRAILER VIDEO BEFORE INSTALLING MADE IT A BREEZE. TIME SPENT WAS LESS THAN A HALF HOUR. WOULD RECOMMEND ORDERING OPTIONAL .CABLE BRACKET TO MOUNT 4 WAY CONNECTOR.
Wiring harness was made with great quality. All connections connected correctly and worked as promised. Installation instructions were easy to read and follow and were complete.
We got the hitch and wiring fast my husband had together fairly quickly we just forgot to order the plug bracket
But it's on its way I definitely would recommend to a friend

This was very easy to install, works well. The wiring could have been a tad longer reaching the left tail light unit.
