You always want to base your weight distribution system (WDS) off of the GVWR as that's what the trailer will be when fully loaded, and really when you need the WDS the most.
When I looked up your 2022 Jayco Feather Micro 171BH Jayco has it listed with a GVWR of 4,995 lbs. According to the 10% - 15% rule this means your loaded tongue weight needs to be 500 lbs - 750 lbs which matches better with the Reese Pro Round Bar 8K # RE94FR that has a tongue weight range of 400 lbs - 800 lbs. so this is the system I recommend going with.
