Strong crosswinds and passing trucks can push your trailer around, but the TrackPro keeps things in line. The hitch head has a positive caster angle that automatically centers your trailer behind you, much like a steering wheel returning to center after a turn. Combined with the trunnion bars and rigid L-brackets, this creates a self-correcting effect that keeps sway in check before it even starts. When your trailer’s weight is uneven, it can lift your front end and make steering unpredictable. The included 2-5/16" hitch ball and adjustable 9-hole shank let you fine-tune the setup for up to 4-1/2" drop or 10-1/2" rise.
Setting up a hitch doesn’t have to mean crawling around with washers or hard-to-reach bolts. The TrackPro’s hitch head comes with the pitch pre-set, so you only need to adjust the head up or down the shank to get your height right. Clamp-on brackets mount anywhere from 20" to 25" back from the hitch ball and don’t require drilling. You can back up without disconnecting anything, and the system clears frame-mounted gear like gas tanks or toolboxes.
The TrackPro is built to take the miles with minimal upkeep. The trunnions have grease zerks on the back for quick lubrication, keeping movement smooth and reducing wear at the pivot points. Wow can’t believe this company would mail out a product sold as new in this condition.
Bought this to reduce rear sag in truck and you would think installing is pretty common sense but apparently it isn't. Instructions aren't very clear and since sad didn't go away at all, I'm guessing it isn't installed correctly. Instructions need to be MORE clear than they are otherwise you'll need to pay a professional to install it as I have no idea if it's correct or not.
Love this hitch system. I was hesitant to spend the money but I am so glad that I did. I have had the system for about a year now and it has impressed me every time I use it. I recently put a 3.5” lift kit on my truck and with the easy adjustments on the hitch system, I was able to accommodate for the lift in about 20 minutes. Would recommend
This thing is amazing! I bought this to haul my 24’ car (toy) hauler behind my 03 Suburban which has coil springs instead of leaf springs. This hitch has made a world of difference. I honestly was shocked at the difference it made. It almost feels like I’m not hauling a trailer at all.
Rock Solid towing! 15 year old truck with original suspension - just look at that alignment. Towed all along the Columbia River Gorge on a windy day and stayed in my lane the whole way.
I bought this in April '22 for our new trailer. The second day of our trip to Alaska, one of the Retaining Keys with the cotter pin fell off. It was while hooking up to our campsite that we saw it was gone and the spring bar bar had been free of mooring. Luckily we had a C Bolt and duck tape to hold the one sway bar without the retaining key and taped up the other to make sure it didn't fall off on the rest of our journey. When we called Blue Ox they sent two day to AK the two packages of the retaining key w/step. These turned out different than the ones that came on the TracPro and are thicker and shorter - I think these were suppose to come with the TracPro WD/Sway and should have been in the package when we got it. There is too much play between the sring bar and the L Bracket with the Retaining key that was in our order. Pictures for reference. If you order the Blue Ox TracPro, call make and sure you get the correct Retaining Keys with it, you should not have to buy them separately.
Received my weight distribution hitch with two days of placing my order. The hitch works well for my set up and installation was easy. My truck hitch weight is 600lbs. and max tow weight is 6000lbs. My 22ft. long RV trailer max capacity loaded is about 20% less than my trucks specs. Etrailer sells quality accessories. Their prices are good, and their experience, knowledge and customer service are the best. It would be hard to find a better dealer that could provide better service with very fast shipping.
It was installed professionally by camping world. Coating is all coming off. Arms pop out during travel. The square pins fall though slots. The angled brackets that mount to camper chassis are failing. Its the worst hitch I have ever owned. Literally.

I bought the 10K to replace a worn out 12K Equalizer hitch. Does the same job as my previous hitch and is lighter in weight. That helps me out since I remove it from my truck when not in use and I'm not getting any younger :)
My only gripe with etrailer is shipping quality. This is a heavy item, well constructed, heavy duty, not lightweight. To ship this in a standard cardboard box without reinforcement is nuts. When delivered by UPS this box had gapping holes and part of the contents were protruding outside the shipping box. My UPS driver stated that such heavy items should be attached to a wood skeleton inside the box to keep from moving around during shipment. To my amazement all the parts were present, albeit banged up a bit with paint damage and gouging. So be aware that you may find your order in similar condition. etrailer responds to me with yada yada. Not real happy with this one but the unit itself is quite robust although a little black enamel will be required.
Product was shipped very fast. I received in three days. Price was best I could find as well. The only thing I would advise for etrailer, is to do a better job shipping heavy products. My box was busted wide open, and it was defiantly an insufficient box for the items inside. I was lucky to not lose anything.

Very good sway control system; I put it to use on our travel trailer all last summer and never had a problem. I measured the height of the front wheel well, hooked everything up and was using it a couple days after buying it. I had the RV dealership tighten all the bolts to specification and never had an issue since. It's nice not to have to disengage anything when backing in. You may want to purchase spare L brackets; they come in handy if you do something stupid like I did leaving them sitting on the bumper and pulling away. It does require a little upper body strength to get the arms on their brackets so just be prepared for that (If it doesn't, you haven't set it up right). I also carry a breaker bar in my trailer to disengage the arms if needed; it comes in handy. It can be a little noisy but not ridiculously so. We have a Ram 1500 and a 5,000 lb Forest River Gray Wolf trailer.
Easy to install haven’t driven the truck yet, but it seems to be doing exactly what it needs too.
Trailer hooked up with the blue ox the rear of the truck sits 4” higher than without. The nose drops about 3/4” compared to no blue ox. Massive difference in the right direction.
The photos are a 2021 4Runner no extra load in the back. Trailers 17’ ~3,500lbs max. I believe about a 350lb tongue weight and was mostly un-loaded.

Product works great, I had an issue with one of the brackets. A quick email to blue ox and I had replacement parts on my porch a week later at no cost to me. I think the blue ox model that uses the chains, and the bracket that requires drilling to the frame may be better. Not that there’s anything wrong with this model, I think just in hind sight I would have preferred that more permanent installation over the clamp on style. I actually changed out my travel trailer for a larger one, and easily moved the blue ox over. Still works great, I love showing this thing off to friends neighbors when I get the chance. Everyone is always amazed at how it levels out the truck so perfectly.
Works well. It's my first time with a distribution hitch, so I've no basis for comparison. I tow a 7200# 30' trailer with a 2007 F-150 (full-timer). It took a few trips to the scales to get things right, since I'm very close to my weight limits. Product arrived without the receiver (damaged box). Etrailer was very quick to provide replacement.
On assembly, I discovered that it was sent with incorrect mounting plates. Blue Ox expedited a parts kit. Overall, it seems to work well. I still have to be careful with wind, or I get pushed around on the road. It's mostly a non-issue.
I've traveled about 5-6K miles, and there is some noticeable wear, scoring, and rust developing where the torsion bars meet the trailer. These parts should be easily replaceable, as long as they're still manufactured. You may want to consider spares once you confirm that you have the correct bars. The friction points can develop metal splinters.
The pivots started showing wear after a long stretch of bouncy highway in Iowa. It was within the 1st 1000 miles, so I'll count this as break-in. I just readjusted the mounting point on the trailer at an overnight stop. I haven't had to adjust it since. The slop in the bushings makes for a greasy mess.
Wear gloves and put a plastic bag over the receiver when you remove it, or you're going to get greasy. Also, be careful of how low the receiver hangs down. I've caught it twice in uneven parking lots. I'm leaving it long, since it helps protect the tongue jack.
It meets expectation. Etrailer and Blue Ox provided excellent customer service. I still took one star, since I was on a deadline with work, and my plans got pushed back two weeks because of this. It shouldn't have happened in the first place, but the customer service from both parties was fantastic.

With a weight distribution system, you want the loaded tongue weight of your trailer to fall within the middle of the tongue weight range that the weight distribution bars are rated for. The bars that are on this weight distribution system BLU67FR are rated for tongue weights between 600 and 800 lbs. Since you say your trailer weight is 7200 lbs, it is possible that you may be overloading the bars. I would suggest that you measure the exact tongue weight with the trailer loaded. You can measure your exact tongue weight with part # e99044. If your tongue weight is between 800 to 1,000 lbs, I recommend to switch out the bars with part # BLU52FR, which have a higher capacity. If your loaded tongue weight happens to be over 1,000 lbs, then you should use part # BLU32FR.

You mentioned that your trailer unloaded weight is 350 pounds and I wondered what your loaded tongue weight would be? The reason that I ask if that this systems spring bars have a tongue weight range of 600 to 800 pounds. If the tongue weight of the trailer is under the tongue weight of the bars then it can create a noisier and bumpy ride. I know that you are happy with the system however I wanted to let you know in case this changes. You can always swap out the bars and go with part # BLU82FR which are rated for 200 to 600 pounds.
