Can the Yakima onramp 1 1/4” carry more weight if only one bike is carried. I know the weight capacity is for each bike.

Hey Makayla, the weight capacity for the Yakima OnRamp part # Y28DJ that you referenced is 70 lb per bike regardless of how many bikes are loaded as the bike trays and frame clamps are all only rated to 70 lbs as well.
If you needed a higher weight capacity though we have the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider part # HLY84FR which is rated for up to 80 lbs per bike.
