Does 2023 Ford Bronco Need Stoplight Relay with Roadmaster Smart Diode Kit

Question:
Will I still need a Brake Light Relay if i install this RM38FR kit? Flat towing a 2022 Ford Bronco 6 series with 2.3L.

Hey Nick, so the Roadmaster light kit part # RM38FR is a fit for your 2023 Ford Bronco as long as it has the LED lights. Whether or not you'll need a brake light relay is going to be based on whether or not your stoplights light up on the vehicle when it is off and you press the brake pedal. If so you would need one, if not you wouldn't.

Hey Nick, did you get a chance to check whether your Bronco’s brake lights come on when the vehicle is off? Knowing that would confirm if you needed the brake light relay with the Roadmaster light kit. Your update could make it easier for others setting up a similar tow setup.
