Hi Martin! You're actually looking at the reducer sleeve I'd recommend. The BTBRV Magnetic Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeve, Part # BTBRV64FR, is the tightest fitting 2-1/2 inch to 2 inch reducer we carry, and it's my favorite for minimizing movement.
I've actually tested this one here in-house, and the magnets are surprisingly strong. They hold the sleeve securely in the receiver, so it doesn't slide around or fall out while you're trying to line everything up. The slotted pin hole also gives you just enough flexibility to make installation easy without having to fight it. Once you insert your hitch pin, that's what locks everything together, while the magnets keep the reducer snug in the receiver when nothing is installed.
No reducer sleeve will eliminate every bit of movement because there has to be a little clearance for the parts to fit together, but this is about as solid as it gets.
Out of curiosity, what accessory are you planning to use with it, a bike rack, cargo carrier, or something else?

I’ve used other reducers in the past and wished for new cuss words, this one lines up easily and is a joy to use.

I've used it with a Thule bike carrier and 3000 lb. towed teardrop trailer. Works perfectly. No issues at all. I was stepping down from a Ram 2500 2.5" to accommodate a Lock and Roll system.
