Question:
Some customers are reporting that this product is silver, not black. I suspect it’s because you are now shopping a shielded version? Please confirm, thanks.

Hey Mike, thanks for reaching out. I went out to our warehouse and looked at the Keystone Single Jack Ethernet Connector for SmartPlug Data Port Inlets # SM38MJ that we have in stock. It looks like the new stock we are receiving are the silver shielded version. We do have a few of the black ones left in stock, but the new ones are all silver.

Purchase this connection to use with fiber optic. Mine was silver. Works like a charm. Made my WiFi experience in my airstream a reality. Thank you.

The one I have, the connection was black and the housing of the unit is white. Works really well for my Starlink connection to allow me to disconnect the dish but leave the modem/router connected to the port
