Does Lid of MaxxFan Deluxe Need to be Up to Replace Lid

Yo replace the lid on a max fan deluxe, do you need to disassemble the hinge that raise the lid? Or are the attachment points accessible independently?

To access the screws needed to remove the vent lid of your MaxxFan to install the new # MA05-30520 you would need to raise the lid so that you can unscrew it from the base of the vent assembly. The screws are not accessible without having the lid up.
