Can you tell me how hard it is to install this replacement lid? Does the unit have to be removed from the roof? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

To install a roof vent lid like the Replacement Lid for MaxxAir MaxxFan Deluxe # MA05-30510 for the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00-05301K, isn't considered to be a difficult task at all. The unit does not have to be removed from the roof either.
To replace the lid, simply locate the screws holding the hinge to the unit itself, and remove the screws.
Finally, remove lid, and replace screws with new lid.
