Question:
Once I have the weight distributed hitch installed how much is sticking out of the back of the truck when it is not connected to the trailer? How much does the system weigh so I know I can remove or easily reinstall from back of the truck? I am looking at the one that is 400-800# rated. My trailer hitch weight is 530#

The head of Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA94-00-0800 is going to stick out aproximately 14" from the hitch pin center on your truck. This can vary as the head of the mount can pitch differently for different trailers. The head assembly weighs aproximately 40lbs with each Spring Bar # FA94-02-0899 weighing 12lbs and each Bracket # EQ95-01-5600 weighing 8lbs.
You will need either a 2" Hitch Ball # EQ91-00-6080 or a 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # EQ91-00-6100 and the 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216
