When attaching E or X Track should place wider and thicker plywood when attaching them vertically inside the trailer for more strength?

For attaching E-Track # e25VR or X-Track # 3481788 on your walls of your enclosed trailer you will need to first determine how the walls are constructed. Adding plywood will help strengthen the mounts for the track depending on how spread apart the vertical supports are. Also if you have a gap between your inner and outer wall skins, hollow wall anchors will greatly increase the strength of the anchors rather than just using lags into the plywood. You can always contact the trailer manufacturer for as they will help you determine the best way for mounting this type of track in their trailers.
