Question:

I just bought a 2023 chevrolet 1500 rst with the 5.3l V8. I have a travel trailer that weighs approximately 6k lbs dry. Do you think I will need to add air springs to keep it level or is that a waste of time. Thanks!

A 6,000 lb trailer is a decent amount of weight for a 1500 truck like your 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 RST so you would experience some sag and an air bag system would get rid of it. The Firestone kit part # F2609 is a confirmed fit for your truck and would be best option. The Firestone systems are known to have the nicest bags which is why we recommend them the most.

If you wanted a way to control the pressure in the bags from inside your truck the Firestone Air Command I part # F2158 would be a really great option.
