Question:

Im looking for a 7-pin trailer plug tester that will work with the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD trailer towing package. Due to the computerized power monitoring the simple LED testers do not work. Does anyone make the tester Im looking for? With Bluetooth would be a great option but to a deal breaker. Thanks, Kerry

The reason the # PK12741 doesn't work with your 2021 Silverado 3500 is that the LEDs don't pull enough power for the truck to send power to the 7-way. You will need to use something like the # PTW2993 with an incandescent light instead. This should pull enough power to trick it and send power back to the tester.
