Question:

Acura 2003 MDX with foglights, Blue Ox does not have a baseplate to fit this Acura MDX, this item #BX2227 says it will. I want to confirm that it will fit. My motorhome has a Blue Ox towing bar already installed and also the Demco Airforce One air system and 7 pin electric outlet. I will need the baseplate, the Airforce one componets for the Acura and the electrical wiring harness for the lights for the Acura, do you have all these componets available?

The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX2227 is designed to fit the 2003 Acura MDX but it will be a very involved installation since you'll need to remove quite a bit to get it mounted in place. If you're not really handy with vehicle's then this is one install that I would hand off to a mechanic. I've attached a link to our installer locator below to help you find one nearby.

For the Air Force One # SM99243 you'll need the second vehicle installation kit # SM99209, which will come with everything you need to install the system in your MDX and have it be compatible with the system installed on the motorhome. The only other thing you might need is the air hose that runs between the vehicle and motorhome # SM99666.

For lighting I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This kit will come with everything needed to properly display your motorhome's traffic signals through the tail lights of your MDX.

If you don't already have safety cables then I recommend part # RM-643 as well. The coiled design of the cables will help keep them up off the ground and prevent them from dragging.
