Are All Blue Ox Tow Bars Compatible with All Blue Ox Base Plates

I was told that any Blue Ox tow bar can be matched with any Blue Ox base plate, is that correct?

Yes. You'll be able to make all Blue Ox base plates like the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX2227 work with any Blue Ox tow bar. This is typically the case between manufacturers and there are now typically adapters available to make the two compatible across manufacturers.

I've linked one of our helpful articles that was done that shows all of the different tow bars and base plate combinations that would work and any applicable adapters.
