The factory connector on your 2005 Toyota Tundra should be located underneath the dash, to the left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal. But sometimes it is behind the kick panel to the left of the emergency brake pedal. I have linked a video showing a typical installation for you with the harness located in the traditional place, not behind the kick panel.
If your truck did not come with a factory 7-Way trailer connector then the connector will not be there. In order to install a brake controller you will first need to add a 4-Way flat trailer connector, # 119178KIT, unless it already has a 4-Way flat. Then you would need to install 4 and 7-Way installation kit # ETBC7. I have included some links that explain the ETBC7 installation for you.
