Question:
My current 32Haulmark Race Trailer has a GVWR of 14000#. I currently only have load it from about 7000 to 8000 #, but in the future will load it to 12000# I only want to buy a weight distribution hitch system once. Will this ssytem give me enough flexibilty to go from 7000 to 12000? Tow vehicle is a 2015 Chevy 2500HD with a 2-1/2inch receiver.

The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System item # EQ64FR will give you flexibility but it will most likely give you a stiff and uncomfortable ride when you are towing your trailer at the lower 7,000 lbs capacity. Tongue weight is typically 10% - 15% of a trailer's total weight. Yours being a race car trailer may be higher if you have tool boxes towards the front and haul lighter race cars.
A better option would be to use the B&W Continuum Weight Distribution System item # BW28FR. This system also has built in sway control but has a wide tongue weight range of 800 lbs - 1,600 lbs. This system would cover you on the low end of your trailer and the high end.
I have linked a couple of review videos below so you can see these two hitches in action and see how they are set up.
