Possible Grease Seal for Trailer with Bearing Numbers LM11949 and LM67049A
Products Featured in This Question
Question:
I recently purchased a motorcycle pull behind trailer. The outer bearing is a LM11949/10 and the inner bearing is a LM67049A. The grease seal does not have any markings on it to show the part number. However, the seal inner diameter is 1.492 inches and the outer diameter is 2.330 inches. Could you possibly tell me the number of the grease seal I need for this hub? It is a small trailer. Thank you,

Expert Reply:
The grease seal you need might be the part # 010-180-00 which has an inner diameter of 1.68 inches and an outer diameter of 2.33 inches but you would need to verify the inner diameter measurement you took to see if it's not a little larger. It might be easiest to measure the spindle where the seal rides instead since the inner diameter of a grease seal is pretty flexible.
