I do have a solution, but we do not have either of the Draw-Tite hitches. Instead, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15324 for your 2004 Suburban. This is also a Class V hitch. It has an even higher capacity when compared to Draw-Tite with a max gross trailer weight of 16,000 lbs and tongue weight of 2,400 lbs. It also features a bolt-on installation and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
