Question:
Good morning, I’m looking to piece together a low profile Yakima rack system and maybe a comparative competitive brand for a 2022 F150 super crew. I installed a retraction pro xr with t-slot rail system. To be best of my ability, I think I need the following: Landing pad#1 4pcs Skyline tower 4pcs HD bar 68” pair I have spent several days at this point just to get to this point lol so I am full of doubt. My goal at the end of this is to carry bikes, kayaks, canoes, and maybe a platform at some point. I would like to integrate with the Outpost HD or OverHual HD at some point and would like to repurpose the gear as much as possible, like the HD bars. Is there a package you would recommend to start with the low profile towers and bars? Am I getting close to ing the right gear for the truck bed? Any help would be appreciated. Courtney

Looks like you are pretty much there!
The Landing pad 1 # Y00221, Skyline Towers # Y53TR, and 68" Yakima HD crossbars # Y01158 will all work perfectly with the RetraxPro XR rails on your 2022 Ford F-150.
This would be perfect for carrying bike racks with a rack like # TH598004-FB, or a platform like the # Y05045-39 but it would be pretty hard to carry kayaks or canoes with this style of rack as you would have a ton of overhang past the bed which is less than ideal.
For a kayak or canoe you'd be better off with something taller or even with the cab so you eliminate the overhang.
You can also reuse these crossbars with the Outpost HD # Y01152 and # Y01155, or the OverHaul HD # Y01151 and # Y01155 if you want a taller system in the future.
