Question:
I have a 2022 Bronco with incandescent or non-LED tail lights. I am looking to add trailer wiring to my vehicle. Right now, I am looking at both the Curt C87BR , and the Tekonsha TK33VR. Both of these kits appear to be designed for non-LED tail lights, and appear to install using the same style of connectors. Can you help illustrate what other differences there are between the two? These look to be nearly identical in design, function, and installation process, yet one is more expensive for reasons I cannot surmise.

You are correct, both the Curt # C87BR and Tekonsha # TK33VR harnesses will both fit your 2022 Ford Bronco with incandescent tail lights. Both are custom fit and will connect in line of your factory tail lights. They both include the additional wiring needed to run a power wire to the battery to power the module. As far as differences go, in my experience the Tekonsha harness is more reliable over time. While both harnesses have a 1-year warranty the Tekonsha seems to have a more durable powered module which is less likely to go out over time. This means you are less likely to have to replace the Tekonsha than the Curt wiring harness.
