How can I use a 824PRO Thule Tailgate Pad for Full-Size Trucks - Up to 8 Bikes - 60inch Wide in a Ford Ranger 2020?

The size of GateMate Pro that Thule recommends for your 2019 Ford Ranger is the part # TH823PRO which is 7 inches shorter than the # TH824PRO that tis 60 inches long and for full size trucks. We don't have a great way to fit the longer version as it would over hang quite a bit.
