I wanted to add a trailer brake controller to a 2022 ford edge with class 2 factory tow package . How can I do this and which controller do you recommend

The best type of trailer brake controller option we have for your 2022 Ford Edge is a wireless one. The reason that this is best is because it won't require you to splice into the vehicle wiring like you would normally for a traditional trailer brake controller. In order to use this type of brake controller you'll need to start with a 4-way if you don't already have one and for this I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118805 (All Models Except Titanium). This will then need to be converted into a 7-way using the 4 to 7-Way with 4-Way Adapter part # ETBC7L which also comes with everything else you need for a wireless trailer brake controller like the Curt Echo Wireless Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 which is what I recommend using.
