Question:

My vehicle: 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WL Does the NightHawk Tow Bar RM-676 have 14 gauge wires for the ground wire and the positive charging wire in the electrical cable? If not, is there a direct connect tow bar that: 1. is compatible with the RM77ZR baseplate and 2. either has 14 gauge ground and positive wires in the electrical cable or does not come equipped with the electrical cable? If not could the Blue Ox Item # BX88206 Coiled Electrical Cable be substituted in the NightHawk Tow Bar package? Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you,

The Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar part # RM-676 comes with the 7-Wire to 6-Wire Coiled-to-Straight Cord for Roadmaster Tow Bars part # RM-1676-7 which uses both 14 and 16 gauge wires. The black (power) and white (ground) wires are 14 gauge and the rest are 16 gauge.
