This base plate keeps things neat up front. The direct-connect brackets sit farther back than standard styles, so when the removable drawbars are out, the setup is almost invisible within the grille. There’s no bulky crossbar or hardware hanging low, so you keep the clean look and extra clearance you want when driving around town.
Connecting your tow bar is simple. Each arm slides into the bracket, clicks to lock, and secures with its built-in pull ring. When you’re done towing, just tug the ring to release, twist, and pull out the arm—it’s fast and clean. The twist-lock system means you can line up and connect even if you’re on uneven ground or working solo in a tight spot.
The base plate bolts directly to the frame with no welding required. Its computer-cut, all-steel build handles heavy pulling forces evenly across the chassis, giving you solid strength mile after mile. The black powder coat finish stands up to corrosion and road grime, so it stays looking good through long-distance travel and rough weather.
This direct-connect setup attaches your motor-home-mounted Roadmaster tow bar straight to the base plate—no crossbar required. It’s compatible with models like the Nighthawk, Sterling, Blackhawk, Blackhawk 2, Falcon, and Falcon 2 that slide into a trailer hitch. The streamlined system cuts down on parts and setup time while keeping your towing gear solidly in place.
If you like doing your own installs, this kit is straightforward. The hardware and instructions are included, and everything bolts up to existing frame points—no welding needed. Once mounted, it’s a reliable connection that’s ready for thousands of miles of towing without fuss or guesswork.

Great product looks clean, and nothing really sticks out and looks unattractive. Almost hidden like... Mike knows his product line. Photos to follow after installation.

Easy to install with videos from etrailer. This is the third or forth set that I have purchased and installed on various vehicles.
Fit my new 2023 Ford F150, and made towing a chinch. Now, I am searching for a winch capable front bumper, that will stil allow for my cruise control and lane system to work.
My husband installed these last year. It took about 3 hours and the video instructions were spot on. We have not had any issues.
This fit, it was an exact replacement for an existing one that was damaged. Roadmaster reengineered this product from the original to use larger diameter bolts. When I was torquing the bolts I could see a slight deflection in the truck frame so I added hollow bar in the frame where the bolts penetrate the frame and stiffen up the connection and provide friction between the truck frame and the base plate. After a year all is well we put 15K miles on it so far.

15k miles?! Are you a full timer or just do you just get to be on the road a lot and trave, David?
Easiest I drive done. Works perfectly. I had some concerns if it would work on my Shelby F-150. etrailer put me in touch with Roadmaster directly who had never done one either. Said if it didn’t work I could return it. It fit with minor adjustments. Have towed a few thousand miles already. Couldn’t be happier
