Question:
Hi. I have a 2019 Dodge Durango SXT V6 without a tow package and a 2000 Jayco Kiwi 17 with a 7 pin connector. Am I able to tow this and if so what products would you recommend? Thanks.

Helpful Expert Reply:
According to my research your 2019 Dodge Durango SXT can tow up to 6,200 lbs and your 2000 Jayco Kiwi 17A has a GVWR of 3,300 lbs so your Durango will be able to easily and safely tow this trailer.
To get you setup for towing I recommend picking up the following parts:
Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - # DT38MR
T-One Wiring Kit - # 118617
Universal Wiring Kit - # ETBC7
No-Drill Bracket - # C57202
Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller - # RED24FR
Wiring Harness - # RED69FR
The trailer hitch is hidden behind your rear bumper fascia for a nice OEM look, the wiring is all necessary for the size of your trailer, and the brake controller will be needed as well. I really like the Liberty because it's smaller and can be installed virtually anywhere in your vehicle so you can put it in a functional place that's out of the way.
