To activate the factory tow package wiring on your 2017 Dodge Durango you will most likely have to take the vehicle to the dealer and they can make it fully functional. Trailer wiring harness # C55515 is designed for models that already have the factory wiring activated. The other option for you is to use wiring harness # 118617 which plugs in line with the vehicle tail light wiring. I have included a link to a video showing an example installation of this harness.
