Question:
I have a 2023 Durano with the factory tow package. It has the hitch and 7-way connector but I need a brake controller. Which is the best one that does not require cutting or splicing and won't be in the way?

The best brake controller for your Durango is going to be the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller item # RED24FR. This is a proportional brake controller that activates your trailer's brakes when your Durango decelerates.
The reason the Tow-Pro Liberty is the best option is because of its unique installation method where the only visible portion is the control knob that's about the size of a nickel. The main unit is hidden away inside your dash to be completely out of the way and out of sight.
The Redarc has a 3-Axis accelerometer that measures deceleration in all directions for precise braking and smooth, uniform stopping action. It is a proportional brake controller that in response to your Durango's braking action. It automatically adjusts the trailer's braking based on deceleration of your vehicle. The brakes activate immediately, there is no pausing like with time-delayed brake controllers.
Since your 2023 Dodge Durango has the tow package you will not need to worry about splicing wires because you will have a port beneath your dash that the Redarc Plug in Adapter item # RED77FR will connect to. This adapter will give you an easy plug and play installation.
