If Capacity of Class I Hitch for 2018 Chevy Spark is Not Exceeded by Trailer Weight is it Safe

Question:

If I use a class l hitch up to 2,000 lbs towing and 200 lb tongue weight with the 19258 2inch ball and the 3593 drawbar, can I tow a light trailer and motorcycle as long as the combination is under 2,000 lbs towing and 200 lb tongue weight and the towing rating of the vehicle is high enough as well? Thank you

Yes, you are exactly right. As long as the trailer you plan to tow is less than the weight capacity of the Curt Class I hitch part # C11433 and the vehicle's towing capacity you'd be perfectly safe. For a ball mount the part # 3593 and hitch ball # 19258 would work really great too.

You'll also want trailer wiring too like with the Tekonsha kit part # 118649 which installs easily by plugging in line with the taillight connectors and has what we have have found to be the most reliable converter box.
